Student Senate
The Student Senate serves as the primary student leadership body at KAMSC. Members organize school-wide events, plan community-building activities, manage fundraising efforts, and represent the student voice in discussions about school policies and culture. The Senate works to create a positive environment and support initiatives that enhance both student life and academic success.
MSO (Multicultural Student Organization)
The Multicultural Student Organization promotes cultural awareness, inclusivity, and appreciation of diversity within the KAMSC community. MSO hosts discussions, cultural celebrations, and educational events that encourage students to learn about different backgrounds and perspectives. The group provides a welcoming space for all students to share experiences and engage in meaningful cross-cultural dialogue.
KAMSC Ambassadors
KAMSC Ambassadors are student representatives who assist with outreach, recruitment, and community engagement. They participate in school tours, orientation events, and public presentations, helping prospective students and families gain a better understanding of KAMSC’s programs and culture. Ambassadors serve as role models and leaders dedicated to strengthening connections both within the school and with the broader community.
Rainbow Alliance - LGBTQIA+ group
Rainbow Alliance is a safe, supportive, and inclusive club for LGBTQIA+ students and allies. The group seeks to foster acceptance, build community, and advocate for equity within KAMSC. Activities include open discussions, awareness campaigns, educational programs, and participation in school events that celebrate diversity and promote a positive, affirming environment for all identities.
84 Steps
84 Steps is KAMSC’s student-run newspaper, offering students the opportunity to write, edit, and publish articles on school events, STEM topics, student life, and community news. Members develop skills in journalism, writing, design, and media production while contributing to an informative and engaging publication for the KAMSC community.
HOSA (Future Health Professionals)
HOSA is a career-focused organization for students interested in health and medical professions. Members explore healthcare pathways through leadership activities, skill-building workshops, guest speakers, and competitive events at regional, state, and national levels. HOSA prepares students for future roles in the health sciences while emphasizing teamwork, compassion, and professional development.
Earthlings
Earthlings is KAMSC’s environmental sustainability club, dedicated to promoting eco-friendly practices and raising environmental awareness. The group leads recycling initiatives within the school, organizes campus clean-ups, sponsors educational campaigns, and encourages the KAMSC community to take action in protecting the planet. Earthlings aims to make environmental stewardship a daily part of student life.
